Designed for large mellons

These beanies are not designed for small heads. It is extremely loose on my size 7 1/8 skull. When wearing, there's a sizeable loose gap right in the front of my forehead, and then large gaps both front and back of my ears. This lets in a significant amount of air to circulate throughout the rest of the loose fitting material surrounding my dome. As a result, I don't find it very warm at all, considering it's advertised as the warmest beanie Sitka makes. It feels like a strong wind could blow it right off my head, though I have yet to wear it in any windy conditions. I'm very disappointed, because I was quite excited about this product when I ordered it. The only reason I still give it 3 stars is that I still think the design looks great, and the material feels nice. I'm sure people with XL-XXXXL size heads will like this product. If you typcially wear M or smaller, I would not waste your money on this.

I bought it for my bald friend and thought that he would appreciate it given his circumstances but he hasn’t worn it once. He said it’s warm but I don’t even think he tried it on. next time I’ll change the shipping address to my house. High quality

When receiving the merino 330 beanie it felt thinner than most that I've wore in the past but don't let that fool you I hunted 16 degree Temps and it kept my head and ears warm

Great purchase, thin light weight beanie that keeps you warm all day. I wear this in freezing temperatures in northern Wisconsin all day without my head getting cold. really like the thin material as it does not interfere with my hearing.
