New favorite cold-weather hat

Got a chance to use it on a snowy Colorado 4th-season deer hunt for my son. Temperatures were in the mid to low 20’s. Hat was nice and warm, and very comfortable - no itch at all, without being too bulky. I normally wear the Stratus hat when it gets to freezing or below. But I found the 330 more comfortable during the hunt (material wise and I don’t have to align the hat with my ears like I do with the Stratus) and easier to stash in a pocket after the hunt when I got back to the truck. I wore an orange Traverse beanie over the top to be seen. I wonder if Sitka can come up with an orange 330 beanie for us Colorado late-season rifle hunters….

Love the beanie, definitely adds some warmth. It is merino so its thin, I thought it would be a little thicker. Definitely don't count on this for a windy day, but a good piece for early to mid season.

Comfortable for all day use whether active or glassing, also great to wear in the Sitka sleeping bag to stay warm on the cooler nights

Not typical Sitka quality

The weight and color are good but the stretch is weak and it won’t stay on my head. I wear a 7 5/8” ball cap, so it’s not a head-too-small issue. It actually feels like (of all things to knock off!) this is a knockoff/forgery and not real Sitka.

Hot Head

Nice tight fitting hat. I purchased in late Spring so I have not been able to test it in the extremes, but it is form fitting to my bald head and looking forward to it keeping my head toasty. Note, for me, it is skin tone and the cap does make me look like a Cone Head, but I'm OK with that if I am warm on the water!
