This is a great piece when it's very cold. It holds in all the heat from your chest. I put it on after a couple hours on the stand. It's that warm.

This was the first SITKA

This was the first SITKA item i ever owned, and is what convinced me their gear was no joke. Even after getting many different pieces of gear, this one still may be my favorite piece of SITKA I own. So warm, so comfortable.

Hands down the best neck

Hands down the best neck gator on the planet. I have never really worn neck gators before until several years ago when I was on a late season deer hunt in CO and temps were well below freezing all day, every day. I can't even tell you the difference this neck gator made in keeping me warm. It not only keeps the cold air from coming inside your jacket, but you can pull it up over your face to stay nice and toasty warm. Since that time, I now wear this thing every time I go out hunting in the cold. Everything from duck hunting, deer or elk hunting and fishing, this piece of winter gear is ALWAYS in my pack. Even just driving around the UTV in the winter. Super warm, super comfortable and very well made. Just as you would expect from Sitka. Buy one and take along with you on your next cold weather adventure. The only regret you will have is wishing you would have bought one much sooner! You will not be disappointed.

This neck gaiter is the best that I have ever used. Very warm and kept out the wind. Was used for the 22 WI deer hunt and it did not disappoint.

This piece is an absolute

This piece is an absolute must and a game changer to keep your entire body warmer. I was surprised at the difference this neck gaiter makes. I stay much warmer than ever. Blocks that chill that creeps down the back of your neck. Also does a great job of staying up. I own the fanatic jacket and stratus bibs and this impressed me equally for a minimal price.

This is a must!!!!! I love it. Anyone with asthma or breathing issues, you will love this. No more frozen lungs!!!! Be aware though guys, went you first put it on, it can be a bit restrictive on your breathing. Once you calm down and control your breathing, you will love it. I cuts wind, keeps you warm, it repels water, and is easily packable. Definitely a must have for late season.

Very warm but because there's no sizing, you can't get a proper size or tighten it up. For those of us with giraffe necks it's loose and let's air in, which defeats its purpose.

Very soft and warm. It does a great job of sealing out the cold and the heat in at your neck. Only down side is the super soft Berber fleece has a tendency to pick up and hold burrs and little pieces of twig very well that stick, poke, and make for an itchy neck. But if you can keep it clean it’s great.

I was really hesitant to

I was really hesitant to purchase this piece! I have a big head and a large neck! Upon other reviews, I figured I would give it a shot. It fit fine, the neck gaiter is super warm and worth every penny! If you have any reservations on fit, don't worry, it will! Once you wear it, you will really notice how much heat you loose around your neck! Thanks Sitka!

I never knew how big

I never knew how big of a game changer a neck gaiter could be. If you have ever been in the blind, decked out from head to toe in heavy insulation and wondered why the slightest bit of wind sent a chill down your spine, its because you don't have this neck gaiter on. It will literally change how you view the cold. can't recommend this product enough.

This thing is HOT! I've worn it for 2 years and this thing will make you damn near sweat in the cold. 100% wind proof, just amazing in the cold.

I love this neck gaiter!

I love this neck gaiter! Its the perfect piece of gear to keep that chill off your neck. I hunt in Alabama and it doesn't get below freezing much but the wind is brutal. It will take your breath away and this is the item that will help lock in that warmth.

Need a neck gaiter? Well out of 8 that I have in cold weather this is my go to - covers everything it has to and more. It is soft and easy to put on and remove even when it's damp it keeps me warm. Love it but I love the whole FANATIC system it is truly the best

As others say it is a game changer. It has a great feeling to it and make sure your neck is warm. Buy it you won't regret. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is I think it is small in size

This simple piece of clothing is a game changer for a hunter in cold weather.

I am not usually a

I am not usually a neck gaiter kind of person. This one is spot on. It is not overly bulky and it is the perfectly length. Pair it up with a Sitka hoodie like the apex or the heavyweight (put the hood on, then the neck gaiter), top it off with the fanatic beanie or the Hudson GTX hat and you only feel the cold on your eyeballs. It definitely makes an all day sit tolerable even in the coldest PA conditions.

As good as the cool

As good as the cool side of the pillow on a summer night. Adding this to your cold weather gear will have you questioning why no one else is out in the blizzard. Adds serious warmth with something that goes into your pocket.

This might just be my

This might just be my favorite piece of Sitka gear that I own. I own a lot of the waterfowl line including the Dakota, Gradient, and Grinder pieces as well as the Dakota Hat and Hudson Muff. I love this piece. I find when hunting when it’s really cold out the best way to stay warm is keeping everywhere warm, I have things to keep my head, hands, and feet warm but I always found I was losing a lot of heat through my neck/chin area. Long sits in the blind it the deer stand were chilly with more clothes on before I got this guy. I found it really keeps my entire body warm because I’m not losing heat anywhere and I can sit for so much longer. Most neck gaiters are super itchy when you have a beard. This one isn’t which makes it a game changer. This is a phenomenal piece and everyone needs one if they’re hunting anywhere below 30*. Much love from Northern Minnesota!

Super warm and soft, absolutely incredible how big of a difference it can make. However, I give it 4 stars because it bunches up in the front and back, especially when I wear my Fanatic hoodie under it.

This is one deluxe piece

This is one deluxe piece of gear! Incredibly comfortable and warm you can use this while glassing, sledding, hiking, standing, sleeping, literally whenever you want to be warm and comfortable! Also those with large melons that are worried that it won't fit - my hat size is about 7 5/8 and it slipped over my large head so fear not if your hat size is below that, probably a size or two larger would be tight tho.

I picked one up last

I picked one up last duck season for myself and immediately fell in love it. I cannot stand my neck/face getting cold and the gaitor does a perfect job in keeping it warm with the fleece material. I also had to buy another for my son because he kept stealing mine. It’s one of those items you can’t leave the house without.

This is the first Sitka item I would call basic. It does not have a drawstring which I consider makes one truly one size fits all. Also the picture seems misleading it does not swoop down in the front. When I pull it up over my chin it isn’t tucked in

I am 5 foot 7 1/2 150 pounds, this is perfect for me, sitting in 30° weather is perfect also pull up just on my face, so warm so comfortable, feels so great on your face and neck

North Dakota. 7 3/4' hat size. 17.5' Neck Temp Range Comfortable- Below Zero-30s (Gets too warm when worn in early season temps) I have what I consider a large head so this is snug but not uncomfortable in any way. Extremely extremely warm. Have worn in high wind, freezing fog, low temp weather conditions and I could not have been more comfortable. IMO comfort is critical to you enjoying hunting on any given day of the year. If you want a matching piece of high quality gear to keep your face and neck warm I highly recommend this product.

Let me preface by saying

Let me preface by saying I AM NOT a 'sitka' guy. This is the only clothing I own from Sitka and you can usually find me in a hodgepodge of Max 5 (duck hunting camo) and a Women's extra large puffy coat while sitting in my tree stand. With that said, I found myself struggling to stay warm on my all day sits in WI. I finally purchased this gaiter and my lord it has been the best money I have spent. Seriously, it DOES NOT matter the temperature, this material will keep your face warm. You can pull it up to your eyes on those days where you are asking yourself why in the heck you aren't sitting by the fireplace, or you can wear it as a simple neck guard. If you are struggling to click that purchase button, just do it. From one cheapskate to another, this is worth the money. My last piece of advice for you is if you are thinking about wearing a lighter face mask underneath this neck gaiter.... don't. Maybe it is just me, but I have found that this neck gaiter performs best when it is unrestricted i.e. when it is touching your face.

I LOVE this. I'm a girl so obviously I'm always cold. I hunt into January here in Maine and use it ice fishing all season it's seriously so warm and soft and looks nice!

This gaiter saved my 2018

This gaiter saved my 2018 Kansas deer hunt. The weather wasn’t supposed to be cold (40s-50s) when I was there. However as the weather does, it changed. The last few days the temps dropped into the 20s with a steady wind and snow. This piece kept me warm and in the stand, even dressed for temps 20-30 degrees warmer than they were. It’s amazing how much heat escapes through your head/neck area.

great 'looking' item but I

great 'looking' item but I cannot get it over my head! I wear a 7 3/4 hat and I cannot even get over my melon. I wish it would, it looks warm but is a total waste of money for me.
