We’ve had the nomad suitcase for several years now & are able to use it for both of our clothes. Because of the size, it’s considered oversized, and it costs us $200 every one way, to check it. So, a round trip, it costs us $400 round trip. Just food for thought if you’re considering a nomad or Drifter 140L.

I was extremely impressed when I received it but it was oversized. I bought it for an upcoming Hunting trip out of the country but after paying close attention the dimensions, it turned out to be oversized. I called Delta and they estimated it would be at least $200 for the oversized fees. Most airlines max is 62in. I returned it because I have plenty of other luggage. I just needed something with wheels…

Great length for my shotgun case saving on lugging two bags to airport counter. And saving a bag fee! Need a stronger TSA lock holder. Plastic zipper is difficult to pull around corners. Outstanding product!

Nice bag, but not functional for airline travel. Oversize baggage fees could easily surpass the cost of buying the bag on your very first trip. I wish that Sitka would design a great bag that complied with airline baggage rules.

Great product for anyone who needs to travel with hunting gear or personal items on their next adventure. Recently packed 65 lbs of waterfowl gear (including waders) and personal clothing for a 4 day hunt in Missouri. The exterior material is weatherproof and tough, especially if you need to throw it in the back of a pickup and the conditions get bad. Highly recommended for those that have considerable travel for their outdoor excursions! It’s also bigger/deeper than it looks in the photos.

This is the last pice of luggage you’ll ever have to buy! I just got back from a five day bow hunt with my son and fit all of our cold weather gear, sleeping bags, snacks, drinks, and of ours our electronics all in one bag. Love everything about this bag, the reason for the 2 star review is the zippers. They are absolutely horrible. I can barely get them to unzip when the bag is empty, and you can forget about trying to zip them when they are full of gear. I even used a set of pliers to try and pull the tab to get them to close, but then was afraid the tab would break off. I've tried everything, even using some wax along the zipper edges to no avail. The bag itself is amazing. Holds all of my waterfowl gear for a weeks long hunt, including waders. I hear some people they get charged for oversized bag, but I've never experienced that yet. Fix the zipper issue and this is a 5 star bag all day long. . . .

I was looking for a travel bag for longer timeframes that is durable. Settled on this one and while it will suffice, it is extremely tall and falls 2 inches outside of most airline regulations so good luck traveling with it.

Zippers around the corners are extremely tough. Just flew internationally and I had to pay for over sized baggage because of its size. The straps inside do an amazing job keeping everything strapped down and prevent movement. I kind of wish it had removable panels but it does pretty good. Also the color really shows the wear from the airport just so you know

The best part about this bag is the handles. Outside of that, zippers require too much work (for the price) and similar to Kevin and Pagsdiii’s 2star reviews: the snap covers broke off after first trip (which I take that with a grain of salt as it isn’t a deal breaker but def sucks) and scuffs very easily. I also noticed, after one trip, it distorts easily. Considering the luggage folk at airports aren’t gentle with bags it was disappointing how easily the bad distorted after one trip.
