Exceeded my Expectations
Great coat at a better price! Had been eyeing the jacket for every day wear. Got it and the Stratus jacket for less than the regular price of the Stratus. Jacket is lightweight and deceptively warm. I can see this jacket getting a lot of use from fall through the winter.

Very warm walking in a dry 20 degrees especially after tighten the waist. Pocket lining is SUPER soft and feels amazing on the hands. I’m 6’1” 205 and the XL fits well.

My first time purchasing an everyday wear jacket. The Sitka Ridgeland WS Hooded Jacket stands out for its exceptional warmth, softness, durability, windproofing, and understated design. This jacket utilizes PrimaLoft Gold insulation, which has held comfort in 32 degree weather here in Virginia. The integration of GORE-TEX effectively blocks wind, I feel no seepage anywhere. Despite its robust capability, the Ridgeland WS maintains a soft and comfortable feel, making it suitable for extended wear. Its durable materials withstand the rigors of outdoor activities, I am expecting some longevity. The jacket's design is both functional and aesthetically restrained, which appealed to me as I prefer performance without flashy elements. My only gripe is that I ordered a Large, thinking it would fit like the hunting gear, but I should have ordered a medium as it is a true to size fit.
