Amazing belt!

The Turkey Tool Belt is a great addition. I love everything about it, mainly because it allowed me to move about the woods (approximately 6 miles daily in 80+ degree weather) and hardly overheated, or drenched in sweat, which would typically happen with a vest or backpack. I especially liked the ability to add a small stool or extra layer to the bottom of the Tool Belt. The organization is excellent, and the box call pouch works perfectly. I intend to practice using the box call, slightly pulled from the pouch, allowing for single-handed operation without fully deploying the call.

Great tool belt

Great smaller tool belt. Fits all you need for a turkey hunt but is also great for for trips checking trail cams or shed hunting. I also own the larger tool belt for whitetails which is also great just a little bulkier.

I ditched the turkey vest

I ditched the turkey vest a few years ago and have been looking for something big enough for all my calls, yet small, portable, and easily removed. This turkey tool belt fits my run and gun hunting style great. Easy access too all my calls, straps to carry my rain gear or extra layers as needed, and lightweight enough not to bother me.

One issue

The belt was great, but it does like the slide down and you have to keep tightening it. Not really sure how to fix it because I do like the fact that it doesn’t go over my shoulders, but this is good too have for running Gun.

Poor fit for small wearers

Its a great pack with thoughtful execution, except for one thing. . . . . those with small waists. Anyone with a waist of 30ish or smaller will likely not be able to tighten the straps enough to have a proper and secure fit. I wear off the shelf pants (even from sitka's line of offerings) but this belt does not lend itself to the smaller side of the spectrum. I wish a size range was published for this pack before ordering since its practically unusable for me. Bummer.

Great, minimalist pack with more

Great, minimalist pack with more than enough room for all your calls and gear. You can even carry a lightweight layer via the bottom straps. It has a nice pull-out rain cover that deploys from the back pocket in case of bad weather, so glass and slate pot-calls stay dry. If there is a downside, it's that the seat pad is VERY thin. I know this is meant to be a minimalist set-up, but it doesn't offer a ton of cushion. . . still a great set-up!

I replaced my long time vest with the tool belt and I haven’t looked back. I like being lightweight and mobile. Much cooler on warmer days than a vest. Carries everything I need to hunt with room to spare. Very well thought out.

Awesome alternative to a vest

Definitely best part is the seat pad that is included. Plenty of room for several calls, gear, etc. Extra gear straps on the bottom work perfect for camera tripod. Built in rain fly is very convenient to keep everything in there dry. Only bad thing to say is if you’re not a person that uses a box call, the box call compartment could be eliminated to make it a little less bulky. Although it does make a nice insulated drink holder.

Great for minimalist hunter. Still has plenty of room for the essentials. Easy to fit to your waist. Holds gear tight and quiet. Great for sneaking around on a run and gun or a couple hour sit. My new favorite piece of turkey hunting gear.

Great pack

I never had a vest or pack before for turkey hunting so I didn’t see a need for something with a ton of storage. This pack is perfect for taking all you need for a full days hunt without weighing you down. Having a waist pack is nice for keeping you cooler as well. One thing I would change is the box call compartment seems like it takes up too much space that could be used for other things imo.

I like it more than I thought I would

I’ve been running the Sitka turkey vest for a couple seasons. Best vest I’ve ever owned but something kept pulling me to try the tool belt. . and I’m glad I did. It’s exceeded my expectations. It holds everything I need and when worn in front, all my calls are basically inches from my hands. I’m at a place now where I use the tool belt more than the vest.

Love the product, very useful for my style of hunting. Finally, a compartment where your box call isn't making noise while walking without a rubber band cinching it down. All the compartments are practical and make sense. Well thought out, the integrated rain cover is a plus!

Texas Turkey Hunting Must Have

Spring turkey season in Texas can be pretty warm sometimes, this was the perfect alternative to a vest.

Acces to all my gear is behind me. I didn't think about this when I was ordering a belt. My bad. Fits comfortably and light weight. Think I'd rather have a light weight vest instead.

Noisy Zippers

I love my Sitka gear, and I really wanted this to be a homerun. The belt fits all my gear. The box call pocket is spot on. I am returning it because the zippers are really loud. I read where people stated they had taped or altered the zippers to reduce the noise. I still ordered the belt thinking the zippers would only be noticable when opening/closing pockets, but they are noisy when moving around.
