Absolutely love it. Quiet and light. The thing you need to remember is there will be no where to put layers if you get hot or cold. I hunteyin the rain the other day and the straps on the bottom held my rain jacket just fine. Great gear for the minimalist.

This little pack exceeded my expectations. It fits everything I need for a morning/evening of turkey hunting. Organization is great, just enough room for the essentials. Highly recommend.

Finally a Turkey hunting System

Run & Gun

Great design for light weight run and gun. The only improvement i would suggest is making the seat with a little more cushion. I made it a back pillow, and took an extra seat cushion.

Out standing

I hunted for 3 days with it got into places I normally couldn't get into to set up on a gobbler it held all of my gear perfectly helped me get the biggest bird I've ever shot! I would undoubtedly recommend this item to anyone from New to old!

Wicked comfortable to wear for long periods and the butt pad comes in handy for making quick sits a bit more comfortable. Has storage pockets for everything you could ever need to hunt some long beards, keeps me organized and gives me quick access to all my gear. No longer do I have to chase around a diaphragm call or try to find my striker for my slate call, tool belt keeps everything right where you need it. Just grab it out of the back seat and you’re ready to go

Love this belt

This is one of my best purchases from Sitka, this thing is comfy, looks good and is light weight. If you are looking for a reason to buy it this is it, I was skeptical about buying the belt but I had a buddy that bought one and let me try it out for a day and I fell in love, I’m telling you now you won’t regret this purchase

Great run and gun piece

This is perfect to store all of turkey hunting tools in a compact, accessible, quiet platform. Everything you could possibly need is around your waist, I love it to keep in the car when driving around looking for birds

I have a turkey vest I bought last year.. finest on the planet. I use that to hunt with my xbow. Then comes the turkey tool belt… I spin that around to my left side so I can hunt with my flintlock smoothbore and hang my possibles bag and powder horn on my right side.. If I had to give up one.. I’d have a hard decision.. Sitka.. I sure hope you don’t invent a 3rd piece for turkey hunting! 👍🦃

I can't use it. Without the shoulder straps it slides off while moving through the woods. Ilike the design but for me it is unusable.

Great Experience so Far!

Absolutely love it after the first week of the opener here in Michigan. We’ve been fighting weather and terrain and the tool belt has held up great. Even after diving hard on my main pouch on a run and gun it kept my slate and box calls safe. The only thing I could say as a skinnier guy is that it just barely gets small enough in the waste for me on hot days with little to no layers. Absolutely fantastic experience so far with the tool belt overall.

I am a new turkey

I am a new turkey hunter so had no expectations. The layout made sense and there was a spot for everything I needed on my hunt.

Liking it a lot.

So far I am really liking this tool belt. The water bottle holder doesn’t work for my hydroflasks. It kept falling out when I would bend over or taking off the belt even when cinched as tight as it can go. Small single use plastic bottles have worked to fit in there, but sometimes that’s just not quite enough water and when it gets empty it gets very crinkly sounding when I brush it with my shotgun or arm. Also I carry my shotgun on a sling on my right side, so I would prefer to have the water bottle on the other side so I don’t have to worry about it hitting my water bottle. It would also be nice to have some sort of bear spray holster option to add as well. It stays in place very well even when fully loaded.

Exellent Layout

I bought this before this season and have used it four times and I'm glad I did. It stays in place when running and gunning and keeps everything quickly accessable. It's refererd to being a "minimalist" item but I have room for everything I need and more. I have a friend that can't run and gun and I used it this weekend in a blind , where we managed to double, and was extremely impressed with its comfort in a chair by off setting it on my right hip. I have the turkey vest so I was hesitant to purchase the belt but I'm glad I did.

the storage in this thing is truly unlike any vest ive seen. very well organized. also much cooler than a regular turkey vest. for a minimalist hunter, great choice

Almost perfect!

Purchased tool belt a few weeks ago. Great design. Plenty of storage. Very comfortable. Hunting with a bow, so like that it doesn’t interfere with draw/release. One simple suggestion, add an extra clip strap to use on side not containing water bottle holder…. A perfect place to attach clippers.

I love the Turkey Tool belt! Very versatile for the run and gunner. Plenty of storage and ease of access to calls. One downside is not a lot of storage for things other than the basics, but that isn’t a problem as it’s designed for the minimalist run and gun hunter. Love this piece!!

Turkey Tool belt

I’m a big fan of the belt, it gives the the capability to run and gun with the with the bare minimum while still having everything you need. The pad is decent I sat on it for two hours and had minimal discomfort. I was able to fit multiple mouth call as well as a slate, box, Owle and crow. Sitka really made great strides to literally use every inch of this belt. I like the little rain coat cover in it. My only complaint is the cup holder. The slick inside lining of the holder doesn’t allow for a water bottle to stay secure very well when crawling, or when you take the belt off to travel no matter how tight you cinch the allistic band. That being said I wish the cup holder was removable. It’d be nice just to have that option.

I hate carrying a ton of things. Decoys and this belt are perfect for hunting ng on the run.

Best turkey vest I have owned

I have both the equinox and the turkey tool belt and love them both. Depending on what I am doing in the woods that day the turkey tool belt is made well and is easy to throw in the truck for quick hunts or the long running and gunning days I also use it at work jumping from boat to boat boarding vessels in the gulf of Mexico to hold my paperwork and tools. Great product

Run & Gun Perfection!!

I’ll start by saying I’m just not a vest guy. I have purchased several including the Sitka vest over the years. I just don’t like the bulk of a vest. The Turkey Toolbelt is a winner all the way around for my run & gun style hunting. Plenty of room for all of your calls, very nice box call pocket that is super quiet and very well padded, water bottle holder, zippered pockets on the front of the belt perfect for holding your range finder, shells, and other small items. The main storage and rear pocket hold everything else you could need to keep on your person. The minimalist style seat pad is removable, but I keep it with me just incase I chase down a bird and don’t drag my chair with me. If I could rate this pack 11 out of 10 I would. Try it & you won’t be disappointed!!

The great thing about Sitka is the create the gear you didn’t realize you needed, but alas you do because it addresses common situations like sitting in a small turkey lounger where a vest w seat doesn’t work well. Instead I plan to use this tool belt to access all my calls and gear without discomfort or excess movement! Look forward to using it to up my turkey hunting game this spring!
