How I got hooked
This was my first Sitka piece I purchased for myself and it kept me coming back. Quality is unreal, stops wind for sure. Only the storm color was available, so I’ve only worn it on the water… but I can see this being a super versatile piece in the whitetail kit. Hoping they release EII or subalpine again soon!! Wish they would have thought of doing something like this a long time ago. Highly recommend. Material is amazing. Sizing I can’t make up my mind on. I wish they made them just a bit longer as the large fits snuggly (but very comfortably) but pretty short, although that’s nit-picking. Hopefully they are getting more of these in soon. Love this hoodie, it is completely wind proof as advertised and waterproof. When purchased, I bought with the intent to use this as regular everyday hoodie, but did not realize that it was meant to be an emergency wind/waterproof stopper in the field. I would recommend sizing up if the intent is to use this for what it is meant for, as you’ll typically be layered in a cold/wet hunt and your standard size would be a tight fit with layers underneath. The quality of this hoodie is amazing and it is very warm, I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

the Hoodie is well made and does what it says it does but the size and fit are small as far as length goes. fits good as long as you dont move your arms at all. soon as you do move them it pulls way up above your belly button

Great For both hunting and running in extreme cold
I use this hoodie for extreme cold-weather running. It’s a phenomenal layer, which does a great job of stopping the wind. You folks. should advertise it to running circles. You would find that many runners would use this. an extreme cold weather that we experienced in Wisconsin is the best single layer I have found for winter running. used to hunt during late season. It does the same. During the fall, you could use this an outside layer during the winter you could use it as a middle layer.

Worked perfect even with single digits
We had some frigid temps at end of December and during Pheasant hunting I needed something under my pheasant blaze jacket that helped me stay flexible but also kept me warm. The windstopper worked perfect in combination with the rather open pheasant jacket and with temps in the single digit I was able to stay comfortable warm and chase after the birds. Awesome. This is a great hoody. Lighterweight/warmth but makes up for that with the windstopper. So comfortable you’ll forget you’re wearing it. The jetstream is Sitka best selling jacket, they took that same material and made a casual cut hoody, genius and obvious at the same time. I truly hope and wish they will expand the color/pattern offerings of this piece as would own several. Please make timber, mud and or dirt and maybe some more everyday colors as well. Oh, and the price point was perfect as well, excellent value for the price.

Saw this piece on sale
