I purchased this pullover to use as a wind blocking mid-layer for late season whitetail. However, the color is way bluer than I expected. Also, the material is too loud for whitetail IMO. That said, its warmth to weight is fantastic and its blocks the wind great making it perfect for everyday use. 5’7” /163lbs athletic build and Medium fits great.

I got this hoodie for daily wear and love it. For the hunter it is quite a bit noisy if that is an issue for those still hunting. Blocks wind great and has just a little warmth. This is pretty much a Jetstream in a hoodie format. Fit is spot on, I’m 5 9’ 175, med build and a large is a perfect fit.

Think of it as a comfortable hoodie that’s much more high performance. It’s light and cozy and the material feels great. With it wind blocking ability it’s great for fishing and being out and about when you don’t need the extra features of pit zips and a full zipper. I have a XL and the fit is perfect for a light shirt or two under but not a heavier layer.

I love my hoodie with the wind stopper liner. In addition to hunting, which I will use the hoodie for, I am a 72 year old runner. I have been looking for the perfect hoodie for running and this hoodie is it. In the bitter cold weather this is my layer right before my outer layer. You should market this hoodie to runners in addition to hunters. There are a pile of runners out there. I tried to purchase two more of these and could not get them. I would very much like you to let me know when they’re back in stock. This hoodie should work great for turkey hunting and bow hunting during the early season. You could use it as an outer layer when hunting both deer and turkeys. Congrats on the best hoodie ever!

Very high quality piece. Fabric is light and relatively quiet, and VERY comfortable. It needs insulation underneath if it is below 50 degrees, but is definitely wind proof. Minor gripe is the hood size; it's big, but nowhere near a dealbreaker. At the sale price this is worth every penny, and it looks fantastic to boot.

Gore windstopper is sorcery. I was hoping that this hoodie under a vest would be good for standard northeast winter temperatures but the material isn’t exactly warm as a standalone layer. Pair with an additional covering. I have a thermal layer made of this material under heavy cargo pants and they are toasty so it doesn’t need much more to make this a deadly frigid temp piece. But I love this hoodie for calming the bit of the wind. Just wish it did more to preserve existence heat. Would like to see something similar in a heavier warmth weight and additional colorways.

Good hoodie overall. Very durable. Love the windstopper technology and grid fleece inside. Big, comfy hood with a good drawstring. Kangaroo pouch for your hands with the grid fleece on the inside. Standard Sitka fit in my opinion. I'm 6ft 190lbs and I went with the XL so that I have room to layer underneath. Only things that could make it better would be if the material was quieter and if the waist had a drawstring to help trap heat underneath in the wind.

I love this lightweight windbreaker piece something that I felt my whitetail kit was missing. I didn’t want to get the jacket but thought this hoody could be perfect. It fits well but wish it had a draw string on the bottom so it didn’t puff out as much like a dress. I also wish it had thumb holes which would make it a perfect piece for me.

As an avid hoody wearer, this piece was exactly what I needed. It is perfect for those days that have a little chill in the air from the brisk autumn winds that do not call for a jacket. It is not as warm as a typical sweatshirt, but it's windstopper tech it great for the extra protection. The windstopper hoodie is great worn alone are layer under another jacket. I’ve used it in 40° weather riding the boat to the duck blind and the windstopper definitely works. I like the soft feel of the inside liner. And for the price i would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a windstopper.

Worn this a few times outside working in the yard, I would really like 2 more. One for work and one for casual wear. I live in Kansas and the wind will cut you like a crazy ex girlfriend. I got and XL I could probably get away with a L. I gave it 4 stars because I would like thumb loops on it or cuffs you could cinch down snug. I am 6'1 and weigh 190.

This ended up being a far better piece of gear than I expected. It's lightweight and blocks ALL the wind. It's much more comfortable than a typical hoody and isn't restrictive or bulky. This sweatshirt surprised me. It is very lightweight but surprisingly warm. It is a bit shiny which I expected being windproof. It is great for backpacking in the wind as it gets rid of the sweat but keeps you warm when you take a break and the winds blowing. I love it!

The fit and finish is exactly what you would expect from Sitka. I’m in a size that can either go XL or XXL 5’9”, 215 lbs, 34” waist and 50” chest. I initially ordered this in XXL as most of my Sitka tops are and found it to be too big and baggy. I gave it to my son in law and it fit him perfect. I ordered the XL and found it to be an acceptable fit. I was able to purchase these on the sale price so they were affordable. I would give this their highest rating.
