Excellent jacket

Great in all aspects. Water tight. The only negative is that the 3 layer gortex feels like 2. But I guess every thing is getting cheaper as prices go up.

100% wind & Waterproof

I really like this jacket. I use it even when I’m not hunting. Every hunter needs this jacket

Must have

Absolute must have jacket for duck hunting , if your hesitant because of the price it’s worth every penny, I use this every hunt basically warm or cold you can layer underneath it and it’s not to hot to wear on warm days. I tell everyone this should be the first thing you buy for duck hunting

Great outer shell

The best waterfowl rain gear, heck rain gear period I’ve ever owned. Light weight, bone dry and comfortable, worth every penny. Pair it with a duck oven and late season is a breeze.

Jacket 🧥

I like the jacket a lot. The only complaint that I have about it is that the pockets are really high up and when you’re bundled up or laying in a layout, it’s very hard to reach your pockets. Other than that it’s perfect. I hunted two days in a row getting straight rained on for all day hunts and loved it and hunted in it with the wind and it cut the wind completely. I would highly recommend this jacket for fishing or hunting any time. The pockets aren’t a make or break deal that was the only down fall I didn’t like much but I love everything else about this jacket! I hunt and fish and train dogs for a living and am in the elements about 365 days a year and love all of my Sitka

Amazing Jacket

I had several generations of the Delta wading jacket, and this one is by far the best. It feels much lighter and a little more formfitting on the arms which is good to reduce bulk. The waterproofness is obviously amazing. Great job Sitka.

Really well thought out piece of gear. Fit is perfect. I hunt everyday and have been in cold rainy weather and this jacket has kept me dry.

Best Waterfowl Jacket Ever!!!!!

This jacket is amazing and so well thought out Sitka out did themselves with this one. Being able to seal out water with the tightwning cuffs in a game changer in keeping your arms dry and the magnetic pocets that can stay open are awsome as well! But my overall favorite feature is the built in dry pouch for a phone! This is by far my favorite feature as it keeps my phone easily accessible, high on the chest and out of the way of shouldering a shotgun, and it also makes it nice so you dont have to dig around in your waders to find it. I also trout fish a lot and wade streams to do this which is one of the many reasons I fell in love with this jacket. It also pairs great with the Duck Oven for warmth! If I had to recomend one piece of rain gear for any waterfowler of the Sitka lineup this is it!

Great jacket! Hunted several times in heavy rains and stayed completely dry. The hood could be designed better but over all it’s a great jacket.

Delta jacket

Overall very nice jacket! It would be nice to see the sizes have a tall option for those days in the field that you might not be wading the timber. Also a zip & or Magnet to the chest pockets as I did have a small amount of water in the pocket. If there was a chance to have Maby a water resistant face mask in the collar that would be an awesome added bonus!

Well designed, functions as desired

Glad I bought a large instead of XL, I’m 6’3” and 190. The cuffs are nice, neoprene “seals” well. Pockets work good, magnetic stay open is cool. Being able to use or remove the call lanyards is nice. Overall a quality piece, very happy , enjoyable waterfowl hunting requires high end gear, season is too short for bad days !

Survived a downpour

On my first outing with this jacket it was pouring rain for hours in January in Arkansas. While my companions were getting drenched I stayed perfectly dry! Excellent result on forst use.

Excellent Jacket keeps me dry

Excellent Jacket keeps me dry in inclement weather… The hood has excellent features with its fitted like features the only thing to improve on this is the zipper system with a beefier zipper other than that it’s one of the best pieces in my Sitka arsenal!

Better to have and not need…

The Delta Wading Jacket is an absolute necessity. Like every piece of Sitka gear, its functionality is magical. How does a shell keep you warm with minimal layering? How does it continuously remain water and wind proof when you beat the crap out of it? I don’t need these questions answered to know its value. It’s always in my pack. I hunted the deep freeze and winter storm in Arkansas last week (2024). Between the Delta Wading Jacket and the Duck oven, sub zero windchill was irrelevant. I bough an XL for ample room to layer underneath. I could’ve probably went with my normal size of a L. Regardless, this jacket will always be with me regardless of conditions. Better to have and not need, than need and not have.

Epic Jacket

Like all of my Sitka gear, the Delta Pro Wading jacket does not disappoint. This jacket is usually worn on the way out to the blind, keeping the wind off my person, if there is precipitation, it keeps me dry, and it has been my go to for outer-wear once it landed. Bravo

Great Top Layer

If you are looking for one layer that will do it all for you all season this is the one. I have warn this jacket in 70 degree weather all the way down to 24 degree weather this years in wind and rain. Not once was a hot or cold. With it being just a rain jacket it allows you to wear a shirt or layer jackets underneath. This product was designed very well even down to the jacket pockets which has magnets to keep them open when ur digging around to grab shells or calls or your phone. The chest pockets are waterproof and fit ur phone easily. The rubber on the sleeve cuffs allow you to create a seal with your wrists so you can submerge your hand underwater without getting your arm wet. I love this product.

Great Purchase

Ultra water proof and works excellent in keeping you dry. Not good alone in cold but with a puffer jacket underneath and layers for warm this jacket will keep everything under it dry.

Best foul weather jacket made!!

This is one of the best pieces of gear I own. In the duck blind to 150 miles offshore this jacket is dry, blocks the wind and the ability to layer makes it an incredible garment that all sportsman should have. The New solid colors option makes it an everyday piece!!

Missing pit zips

I love that this is available in solid colour now, however I wish the pit zips were still there. They were great to dump heat after your walk in while you’re waiting for the birds. I even use it in the field as an outer layer if it’s raining hard, layering as I need to throughout the season.

Love the fit and feel of the jacket. My old jacket was to long and kept getting wet when hunting with waders. This low cut model is perfect.

Keeps you dry but not warm

Layered head to toe in Sitka gear it’s awesome stuff and I get this is a shell layer. But would be nice to have some warmth layering In the high hand pockets. 0-20 degree whether you need another option then this for a spray wind blocker your hands will freeze. Won’t soak through at all no matter how hard it rains is the true best thing about this jacket, but in the cold cold nah

Great Product. I use if for everything because it layers so well over top of my Dakota Vest and Hoody, leaving plenty of room for my arms for shooting. The many pockets, call holders and robust zipper makes it a favourite shell for all purposes.

Excellent fit and comfort

#1 Piece of waterfowl gear you need!

Since we all know that layering is key to comfort in the conditions we experience as duck hunters, I can confidently say that this should be your first piece of gear. I would call it essential if you are walking into water for any reason. Great fit, great construction, nothing you don't need. Because you can decide what goes under it, this piece will work from 50degrees down to as low as you want to go. Most often I use a Merino 150 or core lightweight hoody, followed by either grinder hoody, ambient hoody, or duck oven depending on temps. It fits great with all those products. Its so good that I bought a second one for my son. Dry hunters are happy hunters!

This might be the perfect jacket. Very comfortable and absolutely delivers the warmth. Can easily move around and actually hunt in this jacket. When attempts drop below freezing this is my go to. I always go up one size with all Sitka gear. Fits perfect
