Love this Jacket! I have

Love this Jacket! I have several Sitka Jackets, and this one runs slightly larger than most of my XL jackets. Works great for outer layer, or for cutting the wind down on a boat ride to the blind.

Amazing Jacket

A great jacket to build your system around. Lightweight, and absolutely nothing gets through this jacket. No water, no wind. Pair it with different levels of snivel to adjust for weather conditions. I personally have it paired with the Ambient jacket on cold/mild conditions, and the Duck Oven jacket for cold/frigid conditions. Throw it over your waders, good to go. Extremely versatile.

Crucial piece to own

Dry, lightweight, comfortable, did I mention dry? Must have piece it’s cut a little short on the torso length but I think it makes sense. Other than that everything else is true to size.

Absolutely killer

Best wader jacket made. Designed to fit in all the right places, and do all the right things. It keeps you dry when and where it counts. Boat ride back to the ramp in the rain? No problem. Seriously legit. I’m 6’ and 210lbs and I ordered a large and it fits perfect.

Over rated and over priced

A very nice and waterproof jacket for sure! I like that it has shell pockets on the outside and a zippered pocket on the inside. This was my first dabble into Sitka gear and it has pretty much solidified this to be a fan-boy brand. I don’t think it has outperformed my older Redhead brand coat in any way. Don’t get me wrong though, I’ll probably be buying the duck over to go with this system next year.

Nice jacket. I’d prefer it to be little longer on the front and back to help wick water away from waist. I like how it repels water. Pockets are easily accessible and keeps hands warm and dry.

I remember one particular morning

I remember one particular morning duck hunting this year where we had 3 inches of wet heavy snow dump on us while hunting. I was wearing my Sitka Dakota Hoodie and Sitka Delta PRO Wading Jacket. I was bone dry and warm throughout the snow and 25 mph wind after the snow. On the boat ride back to the ramp I saw my 3 hunting partners curled up on the floor of my boat while I stood at the tiller driving. I distinctly remember asking myself, "Is it really that cold?" I was warm and dry. When we got back to the ramp, nobody wanted to stand around and talk and replay the events of a good shoot had by all because they all complained about being wet and cold. I never even felt cool!!! The Dakota Hoodie and Delta PRO Wading Jacket are worth every penny!!!! I am planning on changing my entire hunting wardrobe over to all Sitka, it is that good!!!! Thank you, Sitka!!!

Perfect Do-it-All Jacket

Just about any season in the PNW has the chance for rain and wind and this jacket delivers for both. Tons of technical features that really shine in a duck blind and out on the steelhead river. I had the original version of the Delta and the shorter cut on the Pro is a big improvement when wearing waders. Outstanding customer service from Sitka is the cherry on top and I'd recommend the jacket to anyone looking for a serious upgrade for their hunting/fishing shell.

Rush ordered a few days before a duck hunt in Arkansas. It was cold and windy however I was warm as heck in this thing. Hooked on Sitka now! I’m 5’9” around 160 and ordered a large for reference.

I’m 5’7 and 170 lbs, the large fit perfect and I have just enough room to layer underneath it for cold days. Design makes it easy to swing to shoot and the pockets are smartly placed. Wind and rain proof. It is uninsulated but paired with layers still perfect on cold, wet, windy days. Very pleased.

Excellent shell

I bought this jacket in combination with the Duck Oven. I believe in layers to help with temp regulation and shooter comfort. These jackets work well together! On a recent Arkansas duck trip the air temp was 25 with sustained 15 mph winds and rain. I was actually unzipping layers because they broke all the wind and kept the moisture off of me. Awesome pair.

If you can only buy one...

Over the years, I have owned multiple jackets for multiple outdoor pursuits. I hunt deer and waterfowl, but most of the time I'm standing in a river with a fly rod in my hand. I have finally found the one jacket for all of my needs, in the Delta Wading Jacket. Yes, it is an exceptional waterfowl piece but it also has a home on a Steelhead river when the weather turns. Which, on a Steelhead river, be it in the Pac Northwest or the Great Lakes, can be often and ugly. Last had mine in the Highlands of Scotland, chasing Brown trout in a downpour. Stayed bone-dry!
