Would like some front pockets

Would like some front pockets that could add a little ventilation but overall I like them. Fits true to size and wish I would have sized up for a little more room when layering over the top.

What can I say it keeps you dry

As a saddle hunter I love the full length side zips, it makes it easier to slip them on and off while hanging in the tree. They're not quiet so but if the woods aren't quiet in the rain and these are rain pants so it doesn't matter how quiet they are.

Great light water pants

I am 175 and 5’10” the large fit great over pants. Very light and packable for raining hunts and trips. I wear some med and some large so try on before you buy if you can

Tall Sizes

I am nearly 6’8” and wear a 38” inseam, unfortunately the sizes ran a little small and are not going to work.

The pants seem well made. I wear 34x30 pants and usually wear a medium. The traverse bibs in medium fit over a base layer and mountain pants. The dew point pant in medium does not.

Great Lightweight Rain Gear

High quality material. Packs down small to carry in backpack. Great option for 1 day or multi-day hunting or hiking trips. Great range of motion, not restrictive at all.

I had asked sitka cs who told me mediums would fit. Not true. The waist is too tight to snap. Disappointing. Runs small, Order a size larger than what sitka says. There fixed it for ya.

If weight is all that matters…

The Dew Point rain pants are light and packable for those hunters who count ounces. Minimalistic in design these pants are great for brief storm showers while on a backpack goat or sheep hunt. However, the pants are not very durable nor do they have the water repellency required for wet mountain hunts (BC, AK, etc) where at times, the rain doesn’t seem to let up. As a guide and recreational hunter the discontinued Stormfront Pants were Sitka’s most durable and water repellent pant (but significantly heavier) in comparison to the more recent release of the Dew Point pants. The Stormfront pants lasted almost a decade with proper product care. I hope Sitka will reintroduce a more robust rain pant for hunters who need durability and longevity of water repellency over the lightest weight possible.

Bought two pairs!

Ordered first set of dew point pants in medium (5’8”, 160lbs) and they were a perfect fit for wearing something light underneath(spring) Ordered second pair in large for layering on top of normal cold weather clothing. Between the two sizes I am covered for whatever the weather brings. Material looks like it last and packs up light.

The color and design

I abosultely love these. I had to size up from a Large to XL for comfort. I just wished I could get this in a color black.

Not what you want

The sizing is very small. The material is also very loud. Would not work for actual hunting purposes

5’11” 190. I wear 34x34 and these were tight even without layers underneath. XL fit perfectly.

Not for warmer weather

Read carefully as these pants are not for hunts in cooler climates without interior layering. Disappointing for the price.

Perfect match for the pair. With jacket I have a set that is lightweight and packs into my small day pack, ready for any weather. A little noisy for deer and elk imo. But nothing else keeps me dry like sitka.

Nice lightweight rain gear. Perfect when you need to pack light. However, I was very disappointed when I laid down prone to shoot my rifle on rocky ground to find after only one time had damaged the knees causing leaks. Had to pay them to repair since they would not cover it under warranty. They obviously ate not designed for durability. No knee or elbow pads.

Great quality pants! I liked the buttons and fit, however, I ordered 36R as I wear 36 Levi’s jeans, and the 36R were a little tight, so I returned them and am waiting for a size 38R for replacement. Everything was great, it’s just hard to order online when everyone makes a size differently!

Packable & lightweight.

Doesn't take up much pack space or add weight. Very minimalist in design and not too loud for rain gear. Athletic cut so won't permit too many layers underneath unless you size up.

I’m a big game guide In Newfoundland and one thing we do have is a lot of rain in the fall and this suit keeps me dry day in and day out, which makes for a comfortable day, week and fall

I purchased these as lightweight rain pants for fishing because of the heat. These are great pants that work really well I’m not found anything else that works as well and keeps you this dry.

Excellent for those spring showers and summer downpours. I own 2 sets. Camo for hunting and the black set for fishing.

Perfect Packable Rain Gear

Minimalistic and lightweight. Perfect for packing in the pack for anything condition from the unanticipated micro storms to those all out soakers. Runs slightly big for my preference but also understand they make them to be able to pull over a wide variety of gear. Size M.
