Much more lightweight than normal
Much more lightweight than normal hoodies but warm. Size runs true (to me) which is a bit different since performance gear like Sitka usually runs a bit small for me (I'm not at "athletic" fit). This item was recommended to me by a friend (Alaska guide) and I'm very happy I listened to him.

Best hunting hoodie
I’ve tried most every hoodie out there and the Sitka Heavyweight Hoodie is by far my favorite. It’s the perfect outer layer in the early season, and a mid layer staple as the year progresses. The hood is perfect and can be zipped up to fully cover your face unlike most other offerings. I’m 5’10” 195lbs and the large is perfect. Best hoodie out there!

Change the name
I say change the name only cause it’s kinda deceiving. You read heavy weight and would think it’s a heavy hoodie thick would be warm. It’s more of a base layer. I do like the hood and face cover as well. But again this is a base layer or early season not a big heavy hoodie. Also it runs a little big I wear a 2xl it fits me more like a 3xl. I am 5”11 235 and it’s a little big on me
